US regulator challenges Microsoft's already-closed biggest gaming deal

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is attempting to block Microsoft's $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, arguing that the federal judge's approval was a mistake. The FTC claims that Microsoft could make Activision's games exclusive to its platforms, similar to allegations made after the Zenimax acquisition. Microsoft's lawyer dismisses the FTC's case as weak and argues that there is no evidence to support the claim that Microsoft would withhold 'Call of Duty' from rival gaming platforms.
