Google is extending the improved document scanner from Google Drive to its Files app. The Files app has received a design refresh and a new Floating Action Button for the document scanner. The button has two modes: Manual and Auto Capture. The Files app also offers editing options and automatically saves scanned files within the app. Additionally, Google is integrating the Drive app within the Files by Google app to make it easier for users to access their files and documents.
