Google launched the Pixel 8 series in October and added support for 'Repair Mode' in December for select Pixel devices running Android 14. Repair Mode allows users to safely store away their data when their devices go in for repairs without resetting the device. Users need at least 2GB of free storage space and a lockscreen code to activate Repair Mode.
