After Spotify, Jack Dorsey's music streaming platform, Tidal announces job cuts

Tidal, the music streaming service now owned by Jack Dorsey's Block, has cut over 10% of its workforce as part of cost-cutting measures. Around 40 employees, including members of the curation team, were let go. This move aligns with Block's plan to cap its total employee count at 12,000. Meanwhile, Spotify has also announced job cuts, laying off about 17% of its staff across divisions.
